Gym environments often have high humidity, and sweat is corrosive, posing a significant challenge to the longevity of strength equipment. MLSfit always prioritizes long-term aesthetics and durability, establishing a surface treatment system that far exceeds industry standards. This ensures every piece of equipment can resist the erosion of time and environment, remaining as good as new.

Our surface treatment begins with thorough pre-treatment. All metal components must pass through a pre-treatment line involving degreasing, derusting, phosphating, and passivation before painting. The phosphating process creates a fine layer of phosphate crystals on the metal surface. This not only dramatically enhances coating adhesion to the base material but also provides a foundational physical anti-rust barrier, effectively inhibiting rust spread even if the coating receives minor scratches.

For the core coating stage, we exclusively use environmentally friendly and highly efficient electrostatic powder coating technology. Compared to traditional liquid paint, powder coatings are solvent-free, have zero VOC emissions, and are healthier. Under a high-voltage electric field, the powder evenly adheres to the workpiece surface and cures after baking at around 200°C. The resulting coating offers exceptional adhesion, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance. We select high-quality, outdoor-grade powders with excellent UV resistance, preventing fading and chalking over long-term use.

For high-contact, high-wear areas like seat adjustment levers and weight selector pins, we apply additional chrome plating or electrophoretic coating. Chrome plating offers high hardness, wear resistance, and an attractive finish. Electrophoretic coatings provide极强的渗透性和均匀性 (extremely strong penetration and uniformity), covering every corner of the workpiece with excellent corrosion resistance.

MLSfit's surface treatment process is a systematic protection project.
